Happy Halloween
At my school, Lakeside, we do something called, ”The Pumpkin carving contest.” We try to make our pumpkin look funny, scary or cute. Each Advisory group makes one. Our Advisory chose to make a cute lion. We tried to use as many natural things to decorate our Pumpkin. So we used straw for our mane, shells for the ears and raisins for the freckles. Even though we did not do too well in the contest we had a lot of fun.
I joined a soccer team at school and I played on it. There is a Maroon team and there is also a Gold team. I was on the Maroon team. The coach name was Carlos. He taught us many things while we practice them. Even though we did not get into the Playoffs, I had a lot of fun. We were a great team together!

This month there is a holiday that everybody likes it is called Halloween. This is why I called this month October scary because of Halloween. This year I got a bunch of candy from Microsoft and my neighborhood.
At my school for Halloween, I carved a cute little pumpkin. This month our class had a social party we had a lot of ice cream and played at the park. It was very fun. this month is one of my favorite month in my life!
